Fulham’s best foot forward for local residents
SEACC is delighted to announce that it has received £34,000 in funding in order to create the South Park Youth Basketball Club.
This will involve the refurbishment of the basketball courts in South Park, as part of the first round of Hammersmith & Fulham Council’s £1 million King Charles III Coronation Youth Fund. We are enormously grateful to the Council for the funding.
Local resident, 15 year old Harrison McIntosh, discovered his love of basketball six years ago and plays regularly. He contacted our chair, Timothy Prager, about forming a youth basketball club and refurbishing the courts in the park and they put together a bid. The South Park Youth Basketball Club will be up and running soon and will be free and open to everyone. The courts will be inaugurated at the second annual SEACC basketball tournament.
